Meet Tim Sullivan
Tim is a long time Gwinnett County Resident. Tim and his bride, Veronica, moved to Norcross in 1980 and in 1983 Tim and his growing family moved to the Sugar Hill / Buford area. In 1987 Tim graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Management Information Systems. Over the next twenty years Tim worked in several areas of IT rising to IT Department Head working mostly in small and midsize companies.
In 2005 he joined his wife in her Real Estate business. They are currently active Real Estate agents with RE/MAX Center in Dacula, working in the Greater Gwinnett area. Tim and Veronica have two grown daughters, Bridget, and Melissa. They are also proud Grandparents to Katherine, Daughter to Melissa and her Husband Ed.
Tim has been active in the community starting the Hamilton Mill Homeowner Coalition. The Coalition is a group of homeowners and HOA Board members from several neighborhoods on and near the Hamilton Mill Road area. The group is dedicated to preserving the residential nature of the area. We work with the Planning Commission, Developers and the Board of Commissioners to ensure quality development where appropriate and to stop inappropriate spot zoning.
We have been quite successful in this process. One of our biggest accomplishments was to get an Overlay District for Hamilton Mill Road similar to the Mall of GA overlay. We know when new development occurs it will be at the current commercial nodes and have some very tough quality standards for the developer to follow. Tim is currently active in the Hamilton Mill Homeowner Coalition, his Subdivision’s HOA and has been active in prior HOA boards. He is a frequent speaker at planning commission and board of commissioners meetings, and special guest to Community HOA’s.
